Hundreds of investors attended the Cannabis Investing Event in Las Vegas last week and attended presentations hosted by several industry leaders. The cannabis industry has expanded in such a way that attendees learned about companies that do not touch the cannabis plant, but are still levered to the industry.
From real estate to extraction technologies, from Canada to Israel, the Cannabis Investing Event featured actionable content that covered a diverse subset of opportunities within this high-growth industry.

Canada: A Topic of Discussion and Center of Opportunity
One of the hottest topics of the conference was Canada and the Cannabis Investing Event featured one of the most highly anticipated IPOs, The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings (TGOD) as well as licensed medical cannabis producer, Aurora Cannabis.

- The company has a very strong balance sheet and has completed two oversubscribed private placements resulting in TGOD have more than 2,500shareholders
An A+ Presentation
One of the most surprising and memorable presentations from the Cannabis Investing Event was from Green Leaf Investment Fund’s CEO, Doug DiSanti. The company operates under the Regulation A+ model and is a real estate firm focused on the emerging cannabis industry.
Green Leaf Investment Fund is focused on providing warehouse and greenhouse properties to licensed cannabis businesses in the United States. DiSanti discussed how he is raising capital so his company can acquire properties it has identified that are properly zoned. After acquiring the land, the company will lease such properties to licensed growers. The Green Leaf team has been working on executing on its plan to build a robust portfolio of suitably zoned cannabis properties.
